    Nice polish
I have used polish on opal and it works great.

    Good polishing compound

    works great
So I got these in and I made three leather strops, one for each of them now on the finest I used the smooth side of the leather. I have sharpened two knives with this and they have had much better quality sharpening than my 10,000 grit Japanese whetstone. I also used diamond plates from 80 grit all the way up to 2000 and then the 3.5 micron through .5 micron straps and it is butter smooth when cutting paper.

    Upped my sharpening game!
Very satisfied! I love cheap stuff that works!First time using diamond paste to finish off my knives. Spreading a small amount onto basswood strops, I was able to get a mirror polish on an S30V steel blade in short order (~20min), and on an even harder M390 blade in about double that time. Progressing from the 3.5 to 1.0 to .5 micron, both knives came out with a flawless polish & hair whittling sharp.I’m guessing that if there are “better”, more expensive diamond pastses out there, it’s probably becuase they’ll get you results more efficiently, but at the rate these get the job done… probably not by much. Otherwise, the other stuff may just be overpriced.Highly recommend. Will buy again when I run out… tho one order should last you a really really long time.

    Not as advertised?
I didn’t try it myself but apparently this is no good for stropping which is what I wanted it for. I just returned it after reading the other reviews saying that it’s worthless for stropping which I didn’t see when I first bought it. I guess I could’ve tried it for myself but I trusted the other reviewers and decided not to waste my time.

Accurate, effective but syringes could be better.
Effective stuff. I take my blades up to 3000 with ceramics then to these pastes. I apply the 3.5 and 1 micron to kangaroo strops then the half to some bulsa wood. I’ve done 2 dozen knives with this stuff now and I believe this is worth the money. It does work well. I’m sure there’s better out there but this was my first time playing with pastes. I usually use tapes clear to .1 micron. But they tear so easily and it gets costly replacing them so frequently. So loading a strop was my attempt at avoiding tapes. I’m very happy with the end result of these pastes and look forward to other product offerings. So as entry level stropping goes, I believe this paste does its job well. Only gripe, the syringes allow paste to get out around the plunger and waste a bit.

Worked to remove scratches from iPhoneX screen
Needed a polish to remove scratches from my iPhoneX screen. It took a little bit of work but it did the job nicely. Took a little bit to learn it does better and a low rpm then a high rpm. I will be getting more sometime soon.

Stick with the green polishing compounds. This has very little in the way of any polishing action on the strop.

This is the first time I’ve ever written a negative review, but I just had to because it was a total waste of money. Now maybe it’s a fluke and I got a bad product, but I don’t see how this could even be accidental.I got the 10 micron diamond paste that I am using to polish a knife blade. It came with that kind of dark oxide finish which I’m not a bit fan of.After putting a generous amount of diamond paste on the blade and applying a bit of wd-40 as lube and to thin it out, I rubbed all over the blade for a good 10 minutes. It didn’t seem like much was happening so I turned over the cloth I was using and it looked exactly the same as before I started. It had a green tint to it from the color of the paste and that’s all. No dark grey or black color which you would expect from using a polish on steel.I repeated it a second time just to be sure that maybe it wasn’t just that the beginning might have not had any diamonds in case they weren’t evenly spread, but I got the exact same result, nothing.I also repeated it with a different diamond paste I have from another brand and within a couple minutes the cloth was turning black. So either I got unlucky and because of poor quality control, I got a batch with no diamonds (I’m not even sure how that would be possible unless they’re knowingly putting in diamond-less paste) or they’re doing this intentionally?I mean I don’t want to make serious accusations like that but I just don’t understand how I got such a dud. It’s not like it just didn’t have a high percentage of diamonds, it’s like there was none.Anyway, pretty disappointed and upset because it was a total waste of money.

My first time using lapping compound and I have a few things to learn. However, this product does work quite well. Better than I expected, I was surprised. I will buy it again when I require it.
