Very effective, but some lessons learned
Works great, but youâll want to do a better job than I did when you apply it. It is extremely effective to a fault, if you donât put it down evenly or put too much down youâll get scorch marks. There were some times where I stopped or turned the drop spreader and it would put down a big clump of product – spread it out with your shoe or something, donât let it sit and assume itâll be fine like I did. Itâll straight up murder your grass in those areas.Itâs very clearly effective as a weed killer. In my photos you can see lines of surviving clover where I missed with the drop spreader. I applied this less than a week ago to a lawn that was nearly covered in weeds, now I can finally focus on fixing the bare spots from last yearâs grubs.

Killed everything it touched during treatment, rose bushes, peonies, ground cover, cypress tree. Followed direction, but did a lot of damage. Will never use again

Pricey but quality product
Scott’s items are generally reliable. This one in particular is easy to apply and works as represented. I’ve had good success with it now for several years. It does a good job of greening up the lawn and ridding it of common weeds. It’s not effective on all weeds though and I have to go back with additional treatments to get full control. Recommend it but it doesn’t perform up to all its claims.

Sprayed my lawn at the beginning of May and have been absolutely blown away ! I was spending a lot of money getting my lawn treated by professionals before so I decided to try doing it myself and boy I’m glad I did! No weeds at all and a lawn that looks fantastic! Thank you Scott’s! I’m a believer!

World of difference
Read instructions carefully and use as directed. This is the best weed killer and fertilizer Iâve used for the past year. Glad I found it. After using the crabgrass preventer in spring I apply this 6 weeks later and continue to use it throughout the summer every 7 weeks to maintain the lawn and keep weeds out. I have a neighbor who neglects his lawn and all his weed seeds blow and seed on my lawn. This takes takes care of it.

Still waiting for results
I bought this to deal with clover taking over on one side of my tiny front lawn. Unfortunately my neighbor waters his grass twice a day and it gets my lawn too, so there is no way to control that. 1 week after first application and clover shows no signs of any treatment. I will try again but I may just resort to tedious pulling of the clover instead because if I wait till next time that I can apply it, I am afraid the clover will be even worse.According to Scott’s response on their YouTube demonstration video;A fter applying Scotts Liquid Turf Builder with Plus 2 Weed Control, weeds will begin to curl within several days. Some hard to control weeds may take a repeat application in 3-4 weeks. Your lawn will green-up in 1-2 days.

The spray attachment is lousy!
This product does work but you will have to contend with the lousy sprayer attachment. I have used this product for two years and it works great with a noticeable reduction of weed growth. It definitely makes the grass greener and healthier.I used two bottles on my lawn and while one attachment started out fine and worked for almost the entire application, it ended up spitting all over the place towards the end of the bottle. The 2nd one leaked all over the place no matter how I tried to make the fitting work so I had to contend with this while applying sporadically to my lawn.I just do not see why companies do this! The bug and weed spray products in the bigger containers do the same thing! You pay a pretty penny for a cheap and compromised applicator!
