I love these ceramic flower vases!
I love these ceramic flower vases! I grabbed this box of 6 to take flowers to work for Valentine’s Day.Pros:-The colors are all really nice, there is a second set of 6 that has an orange one instead of a white one as well. They have that “rainbow pearl” paint/finish which adds to how nice they look-These are thick and durable like ceramic dishware. I accidentally dropped one off a 3 ft counter and it did not break against the hard floor. Also all were packaged well and nothing was broken upon arrival-Price – Chive sells these for $11 when purchased solo, these 6 boxes definitely save you a lot. This ended up being the cheapest per vase option too.$11 per vase as a single is a little overpriced, but the $24 for 6 box is definitely well pricedCons:-The bottoms are not colored/painted and are just a white ceramic. This part is fine but on the bottom it also says “Chive.com”. I think they would be better off creating a nice graphic logo. This doesn’t really bother me that much since most people wouldn’t be looking at the bottom. I’d only consider this an issue if you were trying to put them on a glass/ see through shelfAdditional Information:-The tilt you see in the pictures is by design and they all have that. I didn’t find that this was a pro or a con but wanted to indicate this to others that may not have noticed. They look like they do in the pictures.-Due to the relatively simple design and fact they are made of ceramic they sort of look like something one of your kids would bring home from school. I don’t consider this a con as they are really cute and nicely made

Adorable vases, beautiful colors
Love these little vases. The colors are beautiful. I put small straw bouquets in 2 of them and they gave me the look I wanted. I was disappointed that when I received my package, one of the vases had gotten broke. I am going to attempt to glue it and see what it looks like. Otherwise, I am happy with my purchase. The vases have a wonderful opalescent shine to them.

Half were broken
The vases are cute and came as described. However, the packaging was insufficient and half the cases were cracked and busted to pieces. I bought two boxes and both were damaged

Unexpectedly sturdy
It’s amazing. Smaller than I expected which worked out great for the shelves I wanted to put them on. And they’re sturdy too. When hanging up said shelves, I placed three on and the shelf totally fell off the wall, LOL! Two out of the three I hung up survived, so props for that. I would definitely recommend these.

A bummer of a purchase
These bud vases are more diminutive than the photo suggests, however their small size will still be adorable for a 3 or 4 flower arrangement with some greens. The big fat problem is actually as a result of the seller. They used a large sloppy stamp with indelible ink to mark CHIVE.COM on the bottom of each vase. Not necessarily a problem, except for the fact who ever stamped the vase didn’t pay attention and they also inked the side of the glaze, not just the underside of the container. So the beautiful pearl glaze has CHIVE.COM in sporadic locations partially inked onto it. I tried using a little paint thinner to remove it, however it ate right though the glaze too. Very unfortunate. Not worth returning. I might just paint over and try to save what I can. If I wanted a project and if I wanted to paint my own vases I wouldn’t have purchased these with such attractive dipped glazes.

Beautiful for dried flowers…but not ideal for fresh cut flowers
These small vases are beautiful. The colors are pretty and they look sleek and modern. You can easily fit 4 stems into one vase. The only caveat is that I bought the set and 3 out of the 6 vases leaked water – slowly. You could not see an apparent crack, so I am not sure how it seeped out other than that the glaze was not intact. That is unfortunate because I really liked this set (with the white, blue, and grey being my favorite colors). Amazon customer service replaced the set and I was excited about it, but it arrived broken. Now I am really torn on buying a new set. I really like these vases, but they need to be waterproof. For anyone who is looking for vases for dried flowers – I can strongly recommend them. If they fix the issue with water leaking, I would definitely purchase another set.

Cute little bud vases!
These vases were very cute, sturdy little bud vases. Unfortunately the color wasnât as I had hoped. I really was looking for more of the gold tones and these definitely are more of the soft pale green tones with a very light pearlescent gold overtone.

I ordered 24 of these vases for teacher appreciation gifts at my work. I had ordered last minute, and they arrived promptly. However, 10 of the vases were broken. There was only 1 box that didn’t have any broken vases in it. I had to scramble last minute and go buy more vases at another store because I didn’t have time to order more of these. They were packaged horribly and needed a lot more bubble wrap. They are cute vases otherwise and I really liked the style. They just need to be packaged much better for shipping.

I have a colourful ocassional chair and the vases perfectly pick out the shades. They are purely ornamental.

Wunderschöne Vasen, die aber nicht für Frischblumen zu gebrauchen sind: Am Boden sickert langsam das Wasser heraus. Entweder muss man die “Vasen” auf einen wasserdichten Untersetzer stellen oder man darf nur TrockensträuÃe darin präsentieren. Aber als Vasen für Frischblumen sind sie absolut ungeeignet. Sie gehen wieder zurück.

I should have heeded the previous reviews as out of the 6 vases received today 3 were broken on delivery. It is such a shame as they are nice little vases.I have contacted the seller and await reply…I got a reply fairly quickly saying the vases would be replaced and today I received 6 vases perfectly packed and none broken.
