    Excellent adjunct to horticultural chemicals
I purchased it on the advice of a horticulturist who sang the praises of its many uses – not only does it prevent or lessen winter burn bur it enhances the effectiveness of nearly all laws and garden chemicalsMainly I wanted to enhance the kill of the weed killers I use on the lawn and it seems to work as advertisedFaster week drooping after spraying and I can pinpoint chemical use around desirable planting and still get the job done

    Cut greens and Christmas tree
I bought this concentrate because it was a very good value. I used it on cut greens to decorate for Christmas. I had already put my fresh cut Christmas tree up in a stand. All the directions say not to use indoors, but because my tree was in a stand on a tarp, and in front of a large, sunny window, I sprayed it very lightly and opened the window and front door for air flow. There did not appear to be any problems and it did appear to cure. I was very careful about overspray. I repeated the process for the next 3 days or so, spraying very lightly, especially on the areas that seemed probe to drying out. I spray on top of the needles and on the underside as well. When I took my tree down about 3 weeks later, I had hardly any needle loss and the spray appeared to work very well. Obviously doing this outside would have been much better, but since my tree was already up, I gave it a shot. I encountered zero problems. It worked great and I’m glad I did it. Great product.

    Seems to do the job
I don’t know how one can rate this kind of product because the plants may (or may not!) live without it and if they die it isn’t necessarily because the Wilt Stop didn’t work! But here are my observations:- this brand has same active ingredient (pinene) in same concentration (25%) as competent product.- it mixes easily and seems benign to the workings of the sprayer.- I had about 6 juniper trees about 10ft tall but relatively few branches that I had moved within my yard and it took about 2 gallons of diluted mixture to fully cover the 6 junipers. The trees now have a slight sheen to them so I know they are well coated. No idea whether rain will wash it off as it doesn’t rain much here.- labelled dilution ratio much lower than competing product which severely erodes cost advantage this brand has but there are some pitfalls to believing what the manufacturer has to say…..My main complaint with the product is that the advertising says “for use on x, y, z plants but when you get the product it clearly warns to do a test on those same kinds of plants before using and provides no clues on how you’re supposed to do the testing, for how long or what to look for! I just went ahead and used it since without it I lose about 40% of my juniper transplants anyway so risk seemed worth taking.

    Perfect for trees and wreaths
Great product. Easy to dilute.Always pleased in how long it makes fresh greens last. Excellent for protecting shrubs from frost and freeze damage.

    Must Have for Winter
It is pricey for a large yard, but it is worth the money as it helps evergreens not dry out and they look good.

    Quick delivery!
Happy with product and speedy delivery. Thank you!

  7. BethB

    Worked exactly as advertised
I used this on my ficus and it worked exactly as it said. We did not have any frost damage to my ficus this year due to this product. Could not be happier with end result and lasted entire winter season. We are in AZ so frost is very mild. But in years past the frost would really ruin any new growth. This worked perfectly. We will use again this coming winter.

Easy to use with a pump.
Time will tell how the product works, check back come spring!
