Didn’t want to buy something cheap and regret it
I finally needed some more string for my Black and Decker I thought about buying something cheap but I read someone having the string curl up on them so I just paid the price for this. Does something else work better? I don’t know. If it lasts as long as the one that came with the trimmer then it’s worth the price. It works, but others probably do too.

Long lasting fewer breaks
This is by far a better product than the off brands. This doesnât break the spool gear nor does it break off in little pieces to fly off and cut my legs. These spools last much longer and do a cleaner job cutting. I have lava retaining walls that are very hard on the filament so a long lasting product like this is important. I discovered the hard way after replacing my weeder that it saves money in the long run to stick with the name brand refills.
